Obituary

Saul Glen Gonzalez, lovingly known to all as "Baby," passed away suddenly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering generosity. A dedicated father, treasured husband, adored son, brother and uncle, caring friend, and much-loved nephew and cousin. Saul lived a life full of love and kindness that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was also the kind of man who could make a room erupt with laughter just by walking into it.

Family was the cornerstone of Baby's life, and he found immense joy in the laughter and happiness of his children. His love for them was boundless, and never missed an opportunity to express his pride and affection for Saulito, Junior, Nicasia, Rigo, and Leslie. He had a knack for turning playtime into grand adventures. He often played with his son and niece, showing them how to fish, fly kites, throw water balloons, and build ramps. As a son, he made sure his Mom never needed anything, and made it a point to visit her as often as possible. Saul was not only Alondra's beloved husband but also her soulmate and best friend. Together, they navigated life's ups and downs, finding joy and laughter even in challenging times. They shared dreams of growing old together, reinforcing their deep and unbreakable bond.

To his friends, sisters, and brother, Baby was a beacon of support and a constant source of joy.

His infectious humor and mocking jokes brought smiles and laughter to countless gatherings. Baby was the kind of person who would give you his last dollar if you needed it, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer his good ear. He was only ever a phone call away, and his presence was a comfort to all who knew him.

Baby's affection and generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, impacting the lives of many. He saw the best in people, encouraging them to see it in themselves. He was a man of the trade. Everything he knew about tile and construction, he learned from his Dad. They could lay a tile floor faster than you could say "grout." He shared his knowledge with others, keeping their legacy alive through his teachings and mentoring. Though he has left us too soon, his memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to live with compassion and humor.

As we say goodbye to Baby, keep his memory alive in our hearts, his tile work in our homes, and his jokes ready to roll at a moment's notice. May we find solace in the countless joyous moments we shared with him and strive to emulate the generosity, love and humor he embodied every day.
