Patrick Kevin Walsh

Kevin was born in Chicago and was survived by his daughter, Tamara Walsh, his sister, Maureen Walsh, his nephew, Michael Walsh, great nieces, Alayna Harber and Kourtney Kurps, great nephew, Michael Walsh, and his longtime partner, Dot Lodin. He loved golf, The Cubs, The Bears, reading, and while living in the Bay Area, his sail boat. He was a Marine and an electrician by trade advancing to own an electrical company before his retirement. He and Dot settled in Palm Desert where he was able to spend a lot of time golfing until it was time for both of them to be near family. Thereafter, he resided in Bakersfield. Kevin made enduring friends from his childhood at St. Gertrude's Grade School and throughout all phases of his life. He also was extremely proud of his Irish heritage, having lots of Walsh's and Fergus' still living in Ireland. He visited them in Connemara, Galway and Mayo on several occasions. Kevin was an easygoing man who loved his friends and family right down to his two-year-old step-granddaughter. He has left a huge hole in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
