Our beloved Mother, Maria Odilia Gomez -Salinas, past October 30th,2023, not only was she a hard working woman She was a devoted mother.

She is survived by her 6 children Arcadio Gomez 52 (Michelle Gomez), Valeria Odilia Gomez49 , Rosita Gomez 47, Briceida Gomez -Nunez 46 and her spouse Marco Nunez , Brunilda Camacho-Gomez 45 and Raymond Gomez Jr.

She was also a caring grandmother to 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was a beloved sister and to whomever knew her a good friend. She was widowed in 2005 by her late husband Ramon Gomez. she was born in Augalluegas Nuevo Leon Mexico on December 28th, 1949. With a total of 8 siblings she is survived by Ramiro Salinas, Rosvel Salinas Santos Silva, Roel Salinas and Bertha Chavez.

Maria was raised in Mexico, at the young age of 19 she became a United States citizen. Living in Central California for most of her adult life she also lived in Idaho and Texas She had a very good work ethic, and did was was needed to make sure her children had food on the table and clothes in their backs. She worked in agriculture, packing houses , factory work and janitorial services, she loved to dance she had an infectious laugh and was a very noble person. She had good morals and was a God Fearing woman. She will be missed dearly.

She will have her viewing monarch Memorial, Bakersfield CA, December 7th from 4p-8p and her Celebration of life memorial on December 8th from 11a to noon and lunch following service.
