In Loving Memory of Margarita Cabanillas
“Mommy Maggie”
October 13, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Margarita Cabanillas, lovingly known as Mommy Maggie, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 49. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
Margarita was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Rafael Pantoja, and a loving mother and grandmother whose family meant everything to her. She was deeply loved by all her children and grandchildren, and her love for her family knew no limits. Her heart was truly made of gold. She was one of those rare souls who would give everything she had to help someone else, always putting others before herself, no matter the circumstances. Her generosity was endless, her love was unconditional, and her presence brought comfort, warmth, and hope to those fortunate enough to know her.
One of the greatest joys of Margarita’s life was being a grandmother to Adelyn and Miguel, whom she loved more than words could ever express. She could never tell them no, because seeing them happy meant the world to her. The love she had for her grandchildren was something truly special, a love that will forever live on in their hearts and in the memories they will carry with them throughout their lives.
Margarita was more than a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a fighter, a warrior, and a woman of incredible strength. She fought for life with everything she had, always holding on to hope and never giving up. She fought for her children, for her family, and for the people she loved. Even through life's hardest battles, she continued to show courage, resilience, and a strength that inspired everyone around her. Her determination was a testament to the powerful woman she was.
Above all, Margarita loved God and carried her faith close to her heart. She constantly reminded those she loved to follow their dreams and believe that, with God by their side, anything was possible. Her faith gave her strength, and she passed that strength on to her family through her words, her actions, and the way she lived her life. She encouraged others to keep going, to never lose hope, and to trust that even in the darkest moments, there was still a reason to believe.
Margarita was one of the strongest, most loving, and most encouraging people anyone could ever meet. She had a way of making others feel loved, supported, and never alone. She gave without expecting anything in return, loved without conditions, and showed up for the people she cared about with her whole heart. Her kindness was not just something she spoke about; it was something she lived every single day.
Although our hearts ache knowing that we must continue this life without her physical presence, the love she gave us will never leave. Her voice, her laughter, her advice, her faith, and the countless sacrifices she made for her family will forever remain a part of us. We will carry her strength in our hardest moments, her generosity in the way we treat others, and her faith in the dreams we continue to pursue.
Mommy Maggie, you fought so hard, loved so deeply, and gave so much of yourself to everyone around you. You taught us what it means to be strong, to believe in God, to never give up, and to love with our whole hearts. There will never be another you, and no amount of time could ever replace the space you leave behind.
Though you may no longer be by our side, your love will continue to guide us, your faith will continue to inspire us, and your beautiful spirit will live on through your children, your grandchildren, and everyone whose life you touched.
You were our warrior, our encourager, our blessing, and our heart. We will miss you more than words could ever explain, and we will love you for all eternity.
Rest peacefully, Mommy Maggie. Your fight is over, your pain is gone, and your love will live on forever. Until we meet again, may God hold you in His loving arms. ❤️
