Lee John
Alvarez
January 12, 1951 – January 9, 2026
The family is requesting red attire. Thank you.
In the heart of Bakersfield, under California's sun,
Lived Lee John Alvarez the Third, a cherished one.
Born when the year was fresh, in fifty-one's embrace,
He walked through life with love, a smile upon his face.
A Christian man of faith, with a spirit pure and bright,
He journeyed through the world, a beacon of the light.
His laughter was a melody that soothed the weary soul,
A symphony of joy that made the broken whole.
His days were filled with simple joys, a walk with his dear pup,
The sunsets and the breezes, nature's beauty lifting up.
Oldies music in the air, the tunes of days gone by,
He'd hum along and tap his feet, beneath the wide blue sky.
The westerns called his name, with cowboys bold and true,
Rifleman to La Bamba, each story he knew through.
And let's not forget King Kong, mighty on the screen,
In these tales of old, Lee found his dreams.
A father so loving, with daughters Sheree and Monique,
His son Stephen by his side, his love they'd always seek.
Grandkids Novalee, Aydhen, Aunahlee, Ryan, Sj, Mason, & London
In their hearts, their grandpa's love was a wondrous foundation.
Wise was he in words and deeds, a thoughtful guide indeed,
To all who sought his counsel, he was a friend in need.
In every action, every thought, his wisdom shone so clear,
Lee John Alvarez the Third, to all of us so dear.
On a January day, as the year had just begun,
He left us peacefully, his earthly journey done.
Back to Bakersfield's embrace, where his story first took flight,
He passed in the same town, with the stars to guide his night.
So let us celebrate the man, who lived with love and grace,
Remembering his warm embrace, the smile upon his face.
Lee John Alvarez the Third, in our hearts, you'll forever be,
A part of our stories, in the love we share, you're free.
