Lawrence A. Ybanez, lovingly known as "Pelon," passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on October 5, 1950, Lawrence was a proud veteran who served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam W

Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Loren "Larry" and Dolores Ybanez, and his dear sister Marilyn Gomez.

He is survived by his children, sons, Christopher, Chauncey, and Lawrence, and daughter, Desiree.

He also leaves behind his loving siblings, Cora and her husband Leno Villa, Mike Garcia, and Connie Romero.

His memory will continue to live on through his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

From a young age, Lawrence had a deep love for music and could often be found playing his guitar, sharing songs and smiles. He was known for his sharp wit, his unmatched sense of humor, and a natural gift for making people laugh. Whether you knew him for a moment or a lifetime, chances are you've carried away a cherished memory or a joke that still makes you smile.

Lawrence "Pelon" Ybanez was truly one of a kind. His laughter, stories, and joyful spirit will be missed beyond measure. We will forever cherish his one-of-a-kind jokes and all of the memories we were blessed to share with him.
