Julie L. Burton, beloved wife to Robert L Burton and devoted mother to 5 girls of Bakersfield, Ca, passed away at home on 05/14/2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines to Dioscoro Lademora and Dolores Cabardo on November 29, 1951.

She met the love of her life in the Philippines, Robert was stationed there during the Vietnam War, they got married soon after he got out of the service. In October 1969 at the age of 17, she came to the United States with their first-born daughter Jessie. She began her life in Bakersfield, Ca where her and Robert would raise their family.

Julie loved spending time with her family, collecting handbags and wallets, playing bingo and going on trips with children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening, she had such a greenthumb.

Julie was a devoted mother to Jessie (54), Sandra (52), Theresa (51), April (44), and Jamie (39).

She spent her life as a dedicated mother and wife. She knew how to enjoy life and was always fun to travel with.

She is preceded in death by parents Dioscoro Lademora, Dolores Cabardo, sister Janis Gabuya, brother James Lademora. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Burton, her daughters Jessie James, Sandra Burton, Theresa Burton, April Estrella and Jamie Burton. 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her sister Fatima Tenney and Josie Mumm. Numerous nieces and nephews both in the United States and the Philippines.
