The Razo Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jose Guadalupe Razo, April 14, 2026, at the age of 51. He was born on March 2,1975 to parents Pascual Ruiz Razo and Guadalupe Vega Razo in Bakersfield, California. As a young kid growing up, Jose had a love for freestyle BMX bike riding, skateboarding, and playing youth sports like baseball and soccer. Then as an adult Jose, at the age of 25, made a career choice to become a Peace Officer where he served an 18 year career as a Correctional Officer at the California Correctional Institution in Teachapi. Jose will always be remembered for his charismatic storytelling, his interests in old school cars, and most of all the big heart and enormous generosity he had for his amazing children, and his cherished family and friends. Jose is survived by his daughter, Kylie Skyy Razo, 15; son, Andrew Joseph Razo, 13; mother of his children, Erin R. Razo; father, Pascual Razo; mother, Guadalupe Razo; sister, Rita Baeza; brother, Ricardo Razo; brother, Roberto Razo.

A Praying of the Rosary will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 6 to 8pm @ Monarch Memorial Hall, 2801 F. Street, Bakersfield, CA, 93301

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10am, San Clemente Mission, 1305 Water Street, Bakersfield, CA, 93305 followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery (ES), 3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA. 93305
