My dad has always been such a goofy, happy, energetic & active man who never let anything get him down. If you were lucky enough to have known him, you knew he was the goofiest person and always cracked a joke. He loved soccer, he loved to dance, he loved to work and he absolutely loved his children. But his grandchildren? Maaann, he was the absolute best grandfather who fortunately, our kids were blessed enough to experience. My dad unfortunately passed Thursday afternoon peacefully with his family by his side. He was fighting until the end like the soldier he's always been but he was ready to go home with his parents. We are forever blessed and grateful to have gotten the father that we had and we will forever cherish all the memories we had together. Thankfully, we spent so much time together and we're blessed to have had him with us as long as we did. We ask to continue praying and give our mother, his wife, all the strength as we cope. He loved everyone and he was blessed enough to have met an enormous amount of people who loved him right back. Please remember our dad as the goofiest man he always has been. That's the father we knew.
