John Dewayne Ross, age 48, of Bakersfield, California, passed away on April 23, 2025. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, John will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community.

He is survived by his father Frank Ross, sister Jenifer Deltoro, sister Jennifer and her husband Matt, children John Ross and Cynthia DuFord, son-in-law Anthony DuFord, and grandchildren Bailey, Noah, Sila, and Anthony, who brought him endless joy and pride.

John was deeply passionate about helping others. He dedicated his time and heart to serving those in need within his community, always willing to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. His generosity and compassion touched many lives.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and the legacy of his love and service will carry forward through generations.

A memorial service will be held in Bakersfield, California at Monarch Memorial April 8th, 2025 at 12:00pm.
