John Riley littrell Jr, 72, of Bakersfield California died March 26th that is home he had shared with his wife. He was born on July 28th 1952, and Bakersfield california.

Son of John Riley littrell and Sally James Salisbury. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene littrell, who he married in 1996 and they spent 28 beautiful years together. He is survived by three brothers Pat, Jim and Jr littrell; Three sons brian, Aaron and Christopher littrell; one daughter Denise byford- Hughes; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

John was a member of New covenant church. He was a devoted child of our heavenly father. He loved the Lord with all his heart. When you asked John how he was doing he would say; I'm just blessed to be here. God gave me one more day. John loved deeply, it could be seen in the love he had for his wife and his family. He was someone with many interesting stories to tell, worked very hard in his life and remember to be grateful to the lord. He had many passions; enjoyed an NASCAR race or two, taking the boat out on the lake or calling the shot on the corner pocket. He loved walking his dog Brewster or gardening with all of his plants and succulents. However his favorite thing to do was to go out to eat with his wife.

He was a strong pillar and many of our lives. We will miss him for the rest of our lives. However may we have some peace and knowing he has been reunited with the love of his life and his heavenly father. As John would have wanted it.
