Gregory Todd Roach passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at his home in Bakersfield, CA. Gregg was born December 26, 1969, in Statesboro, GA. He was the oldest of 5 children born to Patricia Fuentes. While he moved around the country over his life, he lived most of his life in Bakersfield. He was proud of his Puerto Rican and Irish heritage, as well as his hometown.

Gregg was a life long geek who loved comic books, science fiction, and video games. He spent most of his career in IT and was passionate about computers. He was clever and charming, able to hold a conversation with anyone. He could be calm and wise when you needed advice, or funny and silly to make you laugh. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father Frank Roach, his maternal grandparents Luis Fuentes and Bonnie Joiner, and his paternal grandparents Leo Roach and Emma Jane Yarbrough. He is survived by his two children Hayley Mongeon of Bakersfield and Chase Roach of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving him are his mother Patricia Fuentes of Alpharetta, GA, three sisters Amy Breaux (Scott) of Lafayette, LA, Gretta Farley of Alpharetta, GA, Elizabeth Decock (Andrew) of Mandeville, LA and one brother Joseph Farley (Joanna) of Lacombe, LA, four nieces and one great niece, and his beloved dog, Bailey.

His viewing will be held Thursday, February 20th from 10am to 2pm by Monarch Memorial at 2801 F St, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
