Cynthia (Cindy) Flud Abernathy age 60 of shafter passed away on the

morning of October 27,2022 followed in death was her husband Michael

Abernathy age 64 who passed November 10, 2022 Cindy was born in Wasco,

CA on January 20, 1962 to Nathaniel flud and Mary Barnes of Oildale,

CA Michael Abernathy was born in Bakersfield, CA on March 18, 1958 to

Willie Abernathy and Mary Abernathy. Cindy and Michael Abernathy

married January 21, 1978 and lived in Shafter, CA Cindy lived in

Shafter her entire life and lived as a homemaker raising their two

children. Michael lived a majority of his life in Shafter as a truck

driver providing for his family. Cindy and Michael had six

grandchildren and many nieces and nephews they both enjoyed watching

football and were faithful 49er fans Cindy and Michael are survived by

their son Michael T. Abernathy and daughter-in-law Kelsey and daughter

Michaela Abernathy and grandsons Cameron and Kayden and their

granddaughters Emily, Caelan, Shannon and Laila. Cindy is also

survived by her brother Richard and his wife Gina Flud. Michael is

also survived by his brother Mitchell Abernathy and sisters Tracy

holder and Amanda and her husband Daniel Garcia and together many more

family members. Services are pending at this time.
