Christopher Lee Vinsant was born on July 15,1973 in Bakersfield, California to his parents Debbie and Louis Hoopiiaina.

Chris grew up in Bakersfield and attended Foothill High School where he swam for the high school team, and then graduated in 1991.

Bakersfield is where Chris spent his childhood and adult life. He was a Fabrication Welder for 32 years and held several jobs in that line of work.

He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Friday April 26,2024. He is survived by both his parents Debbie and Louis Hoopiiaina, his two older brothers Wesley and Jerry Vinsant, and his two daughters Kayla and Abigail Vinsant.

He is now reunited with his younger brother Raymond Rigsby and his daughter Brittney Vinsant, along with countless other friends and family that have passed before him.
